alpujarran adventure weeks are all about good-time riding in the Spanish sunshine. We're not here to scare you witless or break you to exhaustion: we just want to to have a darn good week riding your bike. Based in one of the Alpujarra white villages we can make things as mild or as wild as you like!

During your week you'll have 5 days of guided riding (our guide gets a day off midweek) with 4x4 support. We uplift all the major ascents, although if you want to embrace the climbs and earn your downhill we'll happily hang back and let you slog it out. If it all gets too much we'll never be far away, with a comfy seat in the 4x4 at your beck and call.

Riding

The riding on the alpujarran adventure can be tweaked to your own preferences. It can consist of anything from gentle of off-road riding on dirt tracks to highly technical singletrack - all set amongst the most dramatic scenery in Spain.

Before you even arrive we'll take the time to find out what sort of riding you want to do. Then when you get here we'll start the holiday on easier trails, progressing to more challenging rides as your week goes on. We'll be as clear as we can be about what to expect each day, and review over dinner. This helps us figure out whether we're wearing you out, scaring you witless or hitting the sweet spot. And because we take the time to find out, it's pretty much always the latter.

Accommodation

Rather than working out of a single house or cortijo we spread our accommodation throughout different Alpujarran villages: meaning we can tailor everything to your requirements. Our base prices are inclusive of a stay in a bright, spacious village house, sleeping around 6. Groups of less than 6 may be sharing with other guests who are making up the riding party. Should you wish to upgrade your accommodation, e.g. an en-suite room in a small hotel, or an apartment/house with a pool we can see what's available and arrange for an additional fee.

Catering

As with all our holidays breakfast and lunch are provided each day. For those staying in a village house breakfast supplies are delivered and you make up your own. If you've upgraded to a hotel then they will look after this. Lunch is either packed up and taken on the trail or served as a picnic from the 4x4.

Evening meals are not included in the price and are taken out or you can cater in if staying in a village house. During busy periods we'll a book you a table at the restaurant of your choice, so you’ll never be wandering the streets searching out your dinner.

Cost

€455 for the week in a shared house.

€565 for the week in a small hotel with en-suite bathroom.
